Celestial flyers is an exhibition of graphic works and oil on canvas ac. by painter Sergije Mihić inspired by dance, life energy, long-term friendship and collaboration with choreographer Marija Šćekić. The triptych of oil on canvas that will be exhibited in the Mediterranean Garden Kava on this occasion is a representation of human effort, struggle, aspiration and faith in reaching the goal as the basic idea of the Biennale of New Movement project. The rest of the graphic works on the same theme will be exhibited in the Mihić Studio, which is located not far from the area of the Mediterranean Garden Kava in Karlobag, and in the Mihić Salon in the town of Gospić, where it will be publicly exhibited until the end of the year.

After the opening of the exhibition, visitors will enjoy a public dance performance called "Kava", created from the artistic residency under the direction of choreographers Marija Šćekić (Histeria Nova) and Julia Taffe (Aeriosa).

The goal of the Mihić – Šćekić collaboration is to contribute to projects promoting less-known cultural assets of the Republic of Croatia and to the revitalization project of the 16th-century Mediterranean garden "Kava", which is a protected cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia and is part of the medieval Fort in Karlobag.
