VISITING THE WEBSITE
When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to the server that hosts this website: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and your browser and operating system. Our hosting provider records this in server logs so the site can be delivered and kept secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to find out who you are.
Fonts, icons and scripts are served from our own server, so no other company is contacted just to display the site.
CONTACT FORM AND E-MAIL
If you write to us through the contact form or by e-mail (for example to send an application form), we receive your name, e-mail address and message. We use them only to answer you and, if you sign up for a programme, to organise it. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before an agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Messages from the contact form are sent from our web server to our mailbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). Google may process them in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry.
COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
The website works without cookies. We only use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited), if you click Accept in the cookie notice. Google Analytics then sets cookies (_ga and _ga_…) to count visits and show us which pages are read. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
If you click Decline, Google Tag Manager is not loaded at all. Your choice is saved in your browser (local storage, not a cookie) so we don't ask again. You can change it at any time here: Cookie settings. The same link is on the contact page and, on phones, at the bottom of the menu.
EMBEDDED VIDEOS
Some pages show videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) and Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc.). YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com): YouTube does not set cookies when the page opens, but once you play a video, Google receives your IP address and may store cookies or similar data in your browser. Vimeo videos are embedded with the "do not track" setting, so Vimeo does not set tracking cookies.
Opening a page that contains a video still connects your browser to these services, which receive your IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting our work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More information: Google privacy policy, Vimeo privacy policy.
LINKS TO SOCIAL NETWORKS
The Facebook, LinkedIn, Vimeo and YouTube icons are ordinary links. No data is sent to these networks unless you click one; after that, their own privacy policies apply.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before. To use any of these rights, write to info@histerianova.com.
You can also complain to the Croatian supervisory authority: Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), Ulica Metela Ožegovića 16, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.

We update this policy when the website changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
